Our Life in Christ Together![]() We believe that it is important for Christians to continually come into the presence of Jesus Christ, repent, and receive the forgiveness of sins which is given freely in Holy Baptism, Absolution, Preaching the Gospel, and the Lord's Supper. Together we confess our sins and are forgiven by Christ. We pray Psalms and sing hymns- both ancient and of our time. We hear the testimony of the Law and the Prophets, of the Apostles, and most especially the words of our Lord Jesus the Christ. We follow forms of worship that Christians of all times have handed down to us. We encourage both young and old in the study of the Bible and we love one another in what we say and do. We invite you to come and worship the Lord Jesus Christ, who has redeemed the whole world by his death on the cross and by his glorious resurrection has opened to us the way of eternal life! About Our Family
Jesus Christ has been raised from the dead! Alleluia! Christ our Passover Lamb has been sacrificed. Raised from the dead, He will never die again. Death has no more dominion over him. Dying, Christ dies to sin, once for all. Living, he lives to God. Count yourselves as dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus, our Lord. (1 Corinthians 15:20a; 5:7b; Romans 6:9-11) Having been bought by the precious blood of the Lord Jesus, we are a congregation that is filled with joy and peace. Because of the all availing sacrifice of God's Son on the cross, we are 100% forgiven of all our sins. The payment has been made in full, never more to accuse those who trust in him. Risen from the dead, Christ will come and will raise us up as well. Being individually declared righteous, holy, and acceptable to God through the gospel and baptism for the forgiveness of sins, we extend his love in our lives to our neighbors and all who walk in the door. If you are looking for a church to call home, a church where the Gospel of Jesus Christ is preached clearly, a church that takes his word as truly the word of life, a church that smiles and is happy to sing the praises of our God, then please come and visit us. What We BelieveTo learn more about a particular topic, please visit Beliefs and Practices page of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. We are a congregation that believes, teaches, and confesses what God - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit - has revealed to us in the Holy Scriptures- nothing more, nothing less. We believe that the Holy Scriptures are truly God's inspired word to make us wise unto salvation. They teach us about Jesus crucified for us. As such, we cling to his cross for our salvation. We subscribe to the Book of Concord of 1580 as a true and faithful explanation of the Holy Scriptures. We are a member of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. |
