Our Savior School is an essential part of the educational program of Our Savior Lutheran Church. The program includes preschool and pre-kindergarten. It is under the direction of the Board of Parish Education. A young child learns through love, discipline, exploration, participation, communication, trial and error, and Christian example. Children need to learn how to cope with the challenges of the future while enjoying childhood. Childhood is a time for preparing for the purpose of Christian life- that of serving God and fellow man. The function of the school is to serve children and parents in the church and community in the task of bringing in the "little ones" to know His love and saving grace. In addition children attend chapel services, 2 times a month, where they give to a mission project, pray simple prayers, sing songs, hear a sermon, and enjoy the gifts God gives. Curriculum ApproachThe curriculum of Our Savior Lutheran School is designed to meet the needs of each child. The approach is age appropriate and caring in a warm, positive atmosphere.
